Wow I don’t even really know where to start in thanking Darcie for everything she did over the months to help make our special day an absolutely unforgettable event for both of us. I think her best came out the day of the wedding. She really enabled both of us to just enjoy our day by handling all the important details behind the scene and keeping us on pace. I’m Tonya, owner of Circle City Planners, Circle City Designers, and TonyaShadoan.com. For me, every day is different and exciting, and I love life as an entrepreneur in the wedding industry.

Nine years ago, I had $121 in the bank and a dream of opening a wedding planning business. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, I grew up learning the workings of running a successful business and now I feel extremely fortunate to run a thriving and flourishing wedding planning and décor company. Being in such a “happy” industry is truly an honor.

But, let’s be honest – it’s not all about work! I’m passionate about life and that includes not only my business, but also God, and my three beautiful children (Katelyn 11, Kendra 8, and Kyle 6).

My favorite animals in the entire world are my cat Beau (we call him Beau, Beau) and now our new addition to the CCPINK family, Chanel. Because no matter what kind of day I have, they still kiss my nose. How much do I love that?!

Let’s see…what else? Well, I’m super organized, love public speaking (I know, I’m crazy), I never leave the house without make-up (even the bus stop) and I always have a drink in my hand. Starbucks is my number one choice (I’m one of those $1200+ statistics).

Most importantly, I love being around people. I tend to get called a social butterfly as I’ll talk to anyone about anything (I get that from my grandmother). It’s these moments of being surrounded by those who bring meaning to my life – whether poolside in the sun, shopping (for anything), or even just a quick call on the phone, that make me genuinely happy.
